Built by people who've lived the problem

Planster started with a spreadsheet.

Steve Clark was working at Kodiak Cakes when he built a forecasting spreadsheet to handle their inventory planning. It worked well enough that he started adapting it for other companies—first one, then five, then twenty.

After working with 30+ brands, a pattern became clear: everyone was struggling with the same problem. Inventory planning was either buried in spreadsheets that broke constantly, or locked behind enterprise software that cost more than most teams could justify and still didn't quite fit.

The existing tools were either overpriced, under-featured, or limited to a single channel or industry. Nobody had built something that could flex across D2C and retail, handle multiple warehouses, and still be affordable for a growing brand.

So we built it.

Planster takes everything we learned from those 30+ implementations and puts it into software that works the way planning teams actually work. We built the tool we wished existed—one that handles the complexity of real inventory planning without the complexity of enterprise software.

The team

We're a Utah-based team of e-commerce nerds who've spent years in the trenches of demand planning, operations, and product development. We know what it's like to stare down a spreadsheet at 2am trying to figure out whether you're about to stock out on your best seller. That's why we built Planster—so you don't have to.

How we work

Straightforward by default

Transparent pricing, honest capabilities, no surprises. We'd rather tell you what we can't do than overpromise and underdeliver.

Built to last

We're not chasing the next shiny feature. We focus on making the core product better—more reliable, more accurate, more useful—every day.

Partners, not vendors

Your success is our success. We're invested in helping you grow, not just selling you software.
